The bass starts "walking," the piano comps/ ad-libs quartal-modal chord voicings, and Miles & the other horn players take leads in Dm & Ebm Dorian. (Dorian in Dm: d-e-f-g-a-b-c-d; Eb Dorian a half-step higher). . . .
